Meadow Brome

(Bromus erectus) 

Meadow brome is a bunchgrass native to southwestern Asia. It is used for irrigated pasture or dryland pasture in northern latitudes with an annual precipitation of 41 cm (16 inches).  Drill seed 1.3 to 2.5 cm (½ to 1 in.) deep.

Regar Meadow Brome establishes seedlings rapidly. It is an excellent forage plant and has abundant growth with summer moisture. Regar is recommended for the northern Great Plains, the northern and central Rocky Mountains and the intermountain regions.
