(Secede cereale)

Elbon was released by the Oklahoma Experiment Station. It produces plants that are erect and produce a large amount of winter growth. It is an excellent winter grazer in the Southwest.

Maton rye was released by the Oklahoma Experiment Station and the Noble Foundation. It is a widely adapted, excellent tillering variety. It combines early forage production and increased grain yields and improved disease tolerance. It exceeds Elbon and Bonel in forage production under test conditions.
