Kleingrass (Selection 75)

(Panicum coloratum) 

Kleingrass is an introduced warm-season grass from Africa. It grows to a height of 46 to 61 em (18 to 24 in.}. Foliage color range from green to blue-green. Kleingrass is used for forage and soil stabilization. It withstands extended periods of hot, dry weather, recovers quickly from clipping and spreads rapidly. Kleingrass is adapted for medium to clay textured soils.

SELECTION 75
