Wildfire Reclamation

In 2022, New Mexico experienced the largest and most destructive wildfires in state history. As fires swept across the land, over 340,000 acres were affected. Hundreds of homes were destroyed. Wildlife, forests, and soil suffered. We quickly joined in the wildfire restoration efforts in September 2022 and continued through the early fall of 2023. From the start, our goal was to be a part of a solution to support our community and neighbors during this time of hardship.

As a New Mexico-based company with decades of experience, we know the land and understand local landowners' needs and government programs' capabilities in any restoration project. This was especially true after the wildfires. We put our knowledge to use. Racing against time and the changing seasons, we carefully harvested and processed cover crops and a native grass seed mix of Wheat, Rye, Blue Grama, and Western Wheatgrass. Our specially curated seed blend quickly established and stabilized the bare soil, preventing further damage.
